Virginia Madsen's dream home comes complete with hardwood floors and evil spirits in 'The Haunting in Connecticut.' Plus, Keira Knightley and Sienna Miller won't let a little World War ruin their gluttony in 'Edge of Love.' a href="http://www.moviefone.com/movie/the-haunting-in-connecticut/35584/main">'The Haunting in Connecticut'
What It's About: Virginia Madsen finds the dream home for her and her family -- well, besides the fact that it's already inhabited by evil spirits stranded in the netherworld between life and death. (And also the fact that said spirits "want her son.")
It's Kind of Like: 'Poltergeist' meets 'Amityville Horror' meets countless other haunted house movies
What Critics Say: Critics were terrified by 'Connecticut' -- though not in the sense its filmmakers would probably hope. It registered a scarily low 18 percent approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with many blasting its lack of both originality and frights.

'The Edge of Love'
What It's About: A couple of carefree gals (Keira Knightley and Sienna Miller) in the inner-circle of poet Dylan Thomas (Matthew Rhys) refuse to let the onset of World War II interfere with their fun-filled quest toward BFF-dom.
It's Kind of Like: A third-rate 'Atonement'
What We Say: You have to wonder if Knightley and Miller made this uninspired and dull low-budget drama solely for the chance to party with each other for a few weeks. OK, so that's a bit cynical: It probably has more to do with the fact that Knightley's mom wrote the script (true). Mr. Skin fans will enjoy the occasional Knightley nipple sighting; otherwise don't expect much beyond the quality and production values of a BBC teleplay.
