Alexis BledelBest known for playing a fast-talking, wise-beyond-her-years teen on 'Gilmore Girls' (and for those cute 'Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' flicks), Alexis Bledel graduates from TV idol to big-screen leading lady with her latest movie. In 'Post Grad' (in theaters now), Bledel tackles the role of a girl whose post-collegiate plan to become a high-powered advertising exec collapses, forcing her to move back in with her parents and hilarious wig-wearing grandma (Carol Burnett) -- and she shows she can carry a movie in the process.

In an exclusive interview, the almost-28-year-old Bledel -- who in real life talks just as fast and intelligently as her 'Gilmore' alter-ego Rory -- excitedly rattles off anecdotes about shopping for coffins with Burnett, keeping in touch with her TV mom Lauren Graham and aching to play a role in her native tongue (which, by the way, is not English).
