It's not that strange for two people who work together to fall in love, but it does seem to happen an awful lot in Hollywood (although to be fair, most of us don't spend our days rolling around half-naked with our co-workers). So even though it might be easy to fall in love at work, it isn't as easy for a couple to stay in love once they're spending every waking moment together -- and the latest celebrity couple who will put my theory to the test is Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer (better known as Sookie and Vampire Bill) from HBO's True Blood. The two fell in love (and got engaged) while working on the vampire soap, and now they're heading back to work together in the thriller, Open House.

According to IMDB, the story will center on a couple whose marriage is on the rocks, and are trying to offload their palatial home during a weekend 'open house'. But, things start to get a little weird when it turns out one of the potential buyers never left. The film was written by Paquin's brother Andrew (who will be making his directorial debut), and the cast will include Tricia Helfer (BSG), Rachel Blanchard (Spread), and Brian Geraghty (The Hurt Locker) in unspecified roles while the True Blood stars will play the married couple.

Moyer and Paquin aren't the first real-life couple who like to work together, and over the years plenty of Hollywood power couples have tried and failed to translate that relationship onto the big screen. After the jump: some other famous real-life couples on the big screen...
1. Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton

These two individuals will probably go down in history as having one of the greatest (and possibly most destructive) romantic relationships in Hollywood, and in Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Mike Nichols took advantage of that legend of the tempestuous lovers to bring us one of the best portrayals of how people who used to love each other can destroy one another.

2. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman

The shine of the spotlight was never more glaring than on real-life couple (at the time) Cruise and Kidman during the making of Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut. I almost felt bad for the two of them as stories of sex coaches and their disintegrating marriage flooded the news wires. Of course, this film was the end of their personal and professional relationship, but will remain a great cautionary tale of what happens when 'star-power' runs amok.

3. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck

I think as a public service to any Hollywood couple, they should be forced to watch Gigli to be reminded that sometimes real-life chemistry doesn't always translate to the big screen.

4. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

According to Jolie, she is thrilled that she can sit her kids down and show them the film where 'Mommy and Daddy' fell in love. Unfortunately for me, I'm not in the 'Clan Brangelina', so I was just left watching a sub-standard action comedy.

5. Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart

People like to talk about on-screen chemistry but if you're looking for a couple to burn up the screen, look no further than Bogey and Bacall.
