'An Education,' a sensitive and introspective look at a young woman's coming of age in early 1960 England, is generating lots of Oscar buzz, especially for its breakout star Carey Mulligan.

So what's the next move for the film's director, Lone Scherfig? A time-spanning romantic comedy, of course. Scherfig is set to direct 'One Day,' which tells the story of a couple that meets one day each year for 20 years, a la 'Same Time, Next Year,' and follows their lives until they realize they were meant for each other, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
