We sat down with Matthew Broderick yesterday to talk about his new film Wonderful World, which opens in theaters in New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco today, or you can catch it on VOD pretty much everywhere. It's a small, but very good movie about one man's melancholic outlook on life, and where he goes from there. Definitely worth seeing.

Our full interview with Broderick will be up later today, but we wanted to pass along his comments about Ferris Bueller's Day Off. With 2010 seeing both remakes of Red Dawn and Footloose, FBDO can't be that far behind. Personally, we'd like to see Broderick in a sequel called Ferris Bueller's Next Day Off, where he's an adult and playing hooky from a day in his corporate, married life. Except Bueller would have never joined the corporate life, right?

Read on for Broderick's comments right after the break.
