Break out the red capes, because 'Superman' is flying back into theaters with the help of 'Dark Knight' helmers Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer, the LA Times has confirmed.

"It's very exciting, we have a fantastic story," Nolan told the newspaper. "And we feel we can do it right."

Nolan will act as a producer and mentor on the project, while Goyer will write the script. The two are credited with rebooting the ailing 'Batman' film franchise with two hit films, 'Batman Begins' and 'The Dark Knight.'

No word yet on who will direct the film.
