The new romantic comedy 'Date Night' seemed to have everything going for it heading into opening weekend, boasting a popular male lead in Steve Carrell, the most buzzed about female comedian on the planet in Tina Fey and a director with a proven track record for hits in 'Night at the Museum's' Shaun Levy. But one thing it doesn't have going for it: the top spot at the box office.

Despite early and widespread reports that 'Date Night' had knocked off 'Clash of the Titans, according to The Hollywood Reporter, revised estimates released today now indicate that 'Titans' remains the film to beat. The CGI-heavy 'Clash of the Titans,' starring 'Avatar' hunk Sam Worthington, brought in $26.7 million compared to $25.2 million for 'Date Night.'
