The story centers on a husband (Carell) who after learning that his wife (Moore) wants a divorce, turns to Ryan Gosling's slick life coach in a bid to save his marriage. Bacon will play the alpha-male coworker who Moore has an affair with.

This will be Bacon's first film since last year's 'My One and Only,' and Requa and Ficarra's directorial follow-up to 'I Love You Phillip Morris,' a project which, as we reported yesterday, has struggled to find a release date.

Carell, meanwhile, can currently be seen in the action comedy 'Date Night.'
