Apparently, this year's Oscars weren't sexist enough or box-office-obsessed enough for 'Avatar' costar Sigourney Weaver.

According to Brazilian news site Folha Online, Weaver (who was in Brazil over the weekend to promote the DVD and Blu-Ray releases of 'Avatar') told local journalists that James Cameron lost the Best Director prize to ex-wife Kathryn Bigelow because of the 'Hurt Locker' director's gender advantage. "Jim didn't have breasts, and I think that was the reason," Folha Online quoted her as saying. "He should have taken home that Oscar."

(Right, because having breasts has helped so many women directors at the Oscars over the past 82 years. Before Bigelow, only three women had ever been nominated for directing Oscars, and none had ever won.)
