Leonard NimoyTrekkies of the world... we have some very bad news. Leonard Nimoy has announced that he's retiring from acting which, of course, means that the pointy-eared Vulcan, Spock, will not be making an appearance in J.J Abrams' Star Trek sequel. Or any other sequels for that matter.

"I want to get off the stage." the 79-year-old actor told The Toronto Sun. "Also, I don't think it would be fair to Zachary Quinto (who plays young Spock in the Star Trek reboot). He's a terrific actor, he looks the part, and it's time to give him some space. And I'm very flattered the character will continue."
