Whenever it's time to make a movie about unusual heroes and villains, 'X-Men' director Bryan Singer rounds up a usual suspect: screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie.

McQuarrie (pictured, right, with Singer), who won an Oscar for the screenplay he wrote for Singer's 'The Usual Suspects,' is reteaming with the director for 'Jack the Giant Killer,' a fantasy movie for New Line and Legendary Pictures, according to the Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision blog.
