A Nightmare on Elm StreetOne, two, Freddy's coming for you ... Three, four, selling tickets galore ...

The rebooted 'A Nightmare on Elm Street' scared up the most in ticket sales this weekend, debuting with an estimated $32.2 million to slash its way to an uncontested box office victory. Despite lukewarm reviews, the horror update was far and away the favorite of moviegoers, earning an average of $9,665 per screen.

The weekend's other wide release newcomer, critter comedy 'Furry Vengeance,' could barely muster up an estimated $6.5 million (just $2,169 per screen), for a fifth-place opening.
