Curiouser and curiouser! We all know that Alice slew the Jabberwocky in 'Alice in Wonderland.' But unbeknownst to some, the recent big-screen feature has also been quietly slaying another beast: the box office.

EW.com is reporting that Tim Burton's reimagining of the Lewis Carroll classic has collected a whopping $928.9 million worldwide since its release in March.

That means that 'Alice' has jumped over 1999's 'Star Wars: Episode I -- The Phantom Menace' and supplanted 2002's 'Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers' as the 10th highest-grossing movie on Box Office Mojo's all-time worldwide box office list.
