With Hollywood big (and small) wigs getting ready to head out to the Cannes International Film festival (which begins May 12), one would think all would be quiet on the Western front. But tonight's news reveals a spate of castings for upcoming film projects.

First up is director Paul W.S. Anderson's picks for his 3D version of the classic tale 'The Three Musketeers,' which is scheduled to begin shooting in September. According to The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision blog, Ray Stevenson ('The Book of Eli'), Luke Evans ('Clash of the Titans') and Matthew Macfadyen ('Robin Hood') have been cast as Porthos, Athos and Aramis, respectively, while Logan Lerman (photo, right) ('Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief') is in negotiations to play D'Artagnan. The cast of villains includes Academy Award-winner Christoph Waltz as Cardinal Richelieu and Mads Mikkelsen as Rochefort, and Anderson's real-life wife, Milla Jovovich, has been cast as Milady de Winter. And, according to Heat Vision, an offer is out to Orlando Bloom to play the musketeers' nemesis, the Duke of Buckingham.
