Bonnie Wright, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson at the National Movie AwardsIt was a night for werewolves, vampires and wizards last night at the National Movie Awards in London as the Twilight series of films picked up three trophies at the National Movie Awards in London while Harry Potter bagged two.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon took the prize for best fantasy movie and Robert Pattinson - who got the biggest screams of the night even though he wasn't there - scooped best performance for his role as Edward Cullen in the film. Twilight: Eclipse - the next instalment in the vampire saga - was named this year's most anticipated film.

Pattinson - who was unable to attend the event due to filming commitments - said in a video acceptance speech: "It means a lot to me because you the fans decided the winner. Thanks for voting for me."
