Unless you've been living under a rock, you've undoubtedly heard of Twitter. It's another in a long line of social networking sites that allows users around the globe to connect with not only people they know, but people with similar interests, or to just fabricate online romances with porn stars -- see? Technology is always making your life better. The difference between Twitter and Facebook or MySpace (what's thaaaat?) is that people are limited to 140 characters per post. No lengthy diatribes or status updates here -- it's all about brevity.

One of the coolest things about Twitter is that celebrity community has really taken a shine to it. Odds are your favorite actor or director has a Twitter account and will share some of the minutia of his or her daily life in easily-digested, bite-size chunks. Some celebs are more active than others, particularly Ashton Kutcher -- the reigning king of famous Tweeters. Of course, you should also check out John Cusack's feed -- which vacillates between political commentary, humorous asides, and bat-sh!t crazy. A recent example? "I CAN ONLY AWNSER WHAT WOULD SHOCKOZULU DO ... TO DIRECT QUESTIONS."
