Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel, Emily Mortimer and Rashida Jones have joined the cast of 'My Idiot Brother,' a comedy that centers on an idealist (Paul Rudd) dealing with his over¬bearing mother who crashes at the homes of his three sisters and brings truth, happiness and havoc into their lives, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Banks, Deschanel and Mortimer will play the sisters, each who have their own issues: Banks is a career-driven journalistic still looking for her big break; Deschanel is a bisexual who can't seem to get her act together; and Mortimer plays the perfect wife and mom whose marriage is falling apart. Jones plays Deschanel's girlfriend. The film begins shooting in July in New York.
