This Friday, Woody, Buzz, Hamm, Jessie and the rest of Andy's beloved toys are back for their latest and greatest adventure. It's been 11 years since 'Toy Story 2' hit theaters, so we figure it's time for a little refresher course -- in case you can't remember exactly what's going on in Pixar's flagship franchise.

'Toy Story' (1995)
Main characters: Woody (Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen), Bo Peep (Annie Potts), Hamm (John Ratzenberger), Rex (Wallace Shawn), Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head (Don Rickles and Estelle Harris), Slinky Dog (the late Jim Varney), Sergeant (R. Lee Ermey)
Story: Andy (John Morris) is a six-year-old boy whose toys come to life when no one's around. For his birthday, Andy receives a Buzz Lightyear action figure and he soon becomes Andy's favorite. Woody is jealous of Buzz -- who refuses to believe he's "just a toy" -- and they keep picking fights with each other until Buzz accidentally ends up in the clutches of Sid, the sadistic tween who lives next door. Woody goes to the rescue, and the pair enlist the help of Sid's collection of mutilated toys to get back home before Andy's family moves. In a climactic chase sequence, Andy and Buzz ride a remote-control car to catch up with the moving truck. After overcoming endless obstacles, Woody and Buzz land right next to Andy ... where they belong.
Notable nemesis: Sid
Best Randy Newman song: The ridiculously catchy, Oscar-nominated "You've Got a Friend In Me."
