For millions of celebrity watchers and film fanatics, one of the most pressing questions of our time is about to be answered, as Leonardo DiCaprio may be about to appear on screen wearing a dress.

No, don't worry, he's not doing a remake of 'Tootsie.' Actually, according to Deadline, DiCaprio has signed on to what will be a sure Oscar bait drama, as he will play infamous FBI director J. Edgar Hoover in an upcoming biopic to be directed by Clint Eastwood from a Dustin Lance Black screenplay.

Of that team, of course, DiCaprio is the only one who hasn't yet taken home an Academy Award (though he has been nominated three times, for 'What's Eating Gilbert Grape,' 'The Aviator' and 'Blood Diamond'). Eastwood, who has been nominated ten times, has won four Oscars for directing and producing 'Unforgiven' and 'Million Dollar Baby,' while Black earned his golden statue for the script to 'Milk.'
