When word broke last year that funny person Seth Rogen would play media mogul-turned-crime fighter Britt Reid in the latest incarnation of 'The Green Hornet' -- first a radio show in the '40s, then a TV show in the 60s -- the first thing we thought was: huh? Then we found out that Michel Gondry ('Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind') took over for 'Kung Fu Hustle's' Stephen Chow as the director, and we knew right then we were in for a different kind of super hero movie.

With Taiwanese multi-talent Jay Chou stepping into the role of the Hornet's sidekick, Kato (a role made famous in the '60s by Bruce Lee), Cameron Diaz as secretary/amateur detective Lenore "Casey" Case, and Oscar-winner Christoph Waltz as Benjamin Chudnofsky -- the LA gangster Kato and the Hornet set their sights on taking down -- the ingredients for the film seemed as unmatched as they were intriguing.

But the question remained: Will 'The Green Hornet' mix the same kind of action and humor that made 'Iron Man' such a success, or do we have another 'Jonah Hex' on our hands? Let's watch the trailer and find out.
