Anyone who knows me probably knows that I have a crippling fear of aliens. I'm really not sure why I'm so open with sharing this fear either, as I have a vigilant fear that some jackass friend is going to orchestrate some elaborate prank that finds me face-to-face with a Gray and I'm either going to evacuate my pants and die or explode into a compulsive rage and kill whoever is unfortunate enough to try to scare me wearing an alien mask. However, even though an alien encounter is inexplicably one of my deepest fears, I love to watch movies about them, my favorite being M. Night Shymalan's Signs.
So, with the very cool looking The Last Airbender less than a week away, now is the perfect time to take another look at the director's best film; particularly since I think there are many, many people out there who wouldn't actually agree with it being his best. I suspect a good number of Sci-Fi Squad readers already own Signs, but if not it's readily available for you to pipe through your Netflix-enabled electronic device of choice. See you on Monday to talk about it.
