For the last decade, comic book adaptations have ruled the box office, with one superhero movie after another piling up massive returns. And much of that can be traced back to the success of Sony's 'Spider-man' trilogy, which took in nearly $2.5 billion worldwide, so it's no surprise that the biggest news of the day is the revelation that Sony has finally found a new Spider-man to replace Tobey Maguire.

According to the Associated Press, Josh Hutcherson may or may not have been officially selected to play Peter Parker in the highly anticipated franchise reboot of Marvel's premiere superhero. Reports over the last few days have been strongly suggesting that Hutcherson has been given the gig, but when pressed for details, the actor refused to answer, saying that he doesn't "want to get in trouble with anybody."
