Ever since Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller brought Sin City to the screen back in 2005, fans have clamored for a sequel. The duo have promised one, but the film gets delayed at seemingly every turn because Rodriguez has more irons in the fire than a blacksmith. With the writer-director-producer out promoting Nimrod Antal's Predators, it seemed likely we'd hear some new details about this long in-development project.

Rodriguez told website Digital Spy that he still hopes to direct the follow-up to the popular comic and tantalized fans with news that they have a script, but that it needs to be re-written. When might this event happen? Even Rodriguez doesn't know. "It's just finding the right time slot to do it," he told the site. My guess is that it won't be any time soon, because the filmmaker is set to begin shooting Spy Kids 4 in September.
