David LynchIt's turning out to be a bumper week for fans of cinematic oddball David Lynch. Yesterday, saw the release of the Dark Night of the Soul album, a collaboration between Danger Mouse, Sparklehorse and other artists which includes Lynch providing vocals on two tracks (the original limited edition release last year also included a 100 page booklet of photos by the director).

Now comes news that supporters of Lynch, whose finer works include Blue Velvet, The Elephant Man and Twin Peaks, can help fund a brand new documentary about him. What's more, Lynch has created a limited edition self-portrait for the project so anyone donating $50 can own it as a print or adorned on a t-shirt or tote bag. Hmmm, that all sounds suspiciously normal...
