Joaquin PhoenixWill the Phoenix rise from the ashes? Or is Joaquin Phoenix set to crash and burn with his long-awaited and potentially crazy-cakes documentary, 'I'm Still Here'?

Hollywood Insider reports that the documentary, which marks the directorial debut of Casey Affleck (Phoenix's brother-in-law), has finally landed a buyer. Independent distribution company Magnolia Pictures, owned by Mark Cuban and Todd Wagner, is set to release the film on Sept. 10.

A recent press release from Magnolia describes 'I'm Still here' as: "sometimes funny, sometimes shocking and always riveting, the film is a portrait of an artist at a crossroads. Defying expectations, it deftly explores notions of courage and creative reinvention, as well as the ramifications of a life spent in the public eye."
