Mark Ruffalo will be 'Normal' before it's time for Hulk Smash!

MTV Movies reports that the future Bruce Banner will be starring in 'The Normal Heart,' an adaptation of Larry Kramer's semi-autobiographical stage play.

'The Normal Heart' follows the rise of the AIDS crisis in New York City from 1981 through 1984, as seen through the eyes of writer/activist Ned Weeks, the gay Jewish founder of an HIV advocacy group.

The show premiered at The Public Theater in NYC in April 1985 and ran for 294 performances.
