Some days, you see something really cool and realize that this whole internet thing is worth the trouble.
In this case, it's this seriously amazing graph chronicling the space time continuum over the course of a couple thousand years, as well as the various people and robots and aliens who decided to do a little time traveling. The result is a colorful, mindblowing example of why people taking popular culture waaay too seriously is a good thing for us all.
Especially fun are the notes pointing out when different people and characters travel to the same time period, where they could presumably meet. Ever had a geeky daydream where Marty McFly and James T. Kirk met the Terminator? Well, all three of them were hanging out in 1985!
If you like this one, you should definitely check out this oldie-but-goodie: a massive chart chronicling the plots and character interactions of Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Jurassic Park, 12 Angry Men and (rather humorously) Primer.
Check out the time travel chart at the link above or check out a much smaller version after the jump just to gain some appreciation for the breadth of this thing. img vspace="4" hspace="4" border="1" id="vimage_3301594" alt="" src="http://www.blogcdn.com/blog.moviefone.com/media/2010/08/insanetimetravelgraph2010.jpg" />
