allison miller terra novaRemember Terra Nova, the epic time-travel series Steven Spielberg and Peter Chernin are producing for Fox? Sadly, it's been pushed back from mid-season 2010 to fall 2011, but don't fret. The network says the showrunners are taking their time with the project to bring us "One of the most visually stimulating and dramatically grand series to air on network television." Translation: It's super expensive, but they're trying to make it awesome. It sounds ambitious, and I can't wait to see it.

Back in June, Jason O'Mara joined the cast as the lead, Jim Shannon, a man who travels back to prehistoric times with his family. Now it looks like the show has found its female lead in Allison Miller.
Deadline reports that Miller has joined the series as Skye, a vet of the prehistoric Terra Nova who takes Shannon's son under her wing. Fans of NBC's Kings might remember Miller as Michelle Benjamin.

The DreamWorks TV project bows with a May 2011 preview. You tuning in?
