Fans of science fiction have every right to worship the ground Douglas Trumbull walks on. After all, he's the visual effects god behind Blade Runner, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Star Trek: The Motion Picture and most famously, 2001: A Space Odyssey. So it's appropriate that Trumbull is intimately involved with the production of 2001: Beyond the Infinite, a documentary about the production of Stanley Kubrick's science fiction masterpiece.

A look at the currently filming production can be found at Trumbull's site (scroll down and click on the second video). It's not really a trailer, so don't expect a sick, dramatic look at the documentary. It's more or less Trumbull himself sitting down in front of the camera and laying out all of the reasons why you (most likely a potential investor) should be interested in 2001: Beyond the Infinite.
