Monty Python teamBrace yourself for some old-school silliness - it would appear that there's a Monty Python reunion on the cards. Terry Jones is set to direct a film called Absolutely Anything and has reached out to his former cohorts to feature in it.

Produced by Phoenix Pictures, who are behind the forthcoming Black Swan, the film will star John Olivier (from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart) and Robin Williams (in the role of someone called 'Danny The Dog'). According to Jones (who wrote it) Absolutely Anything is about, "aliens, a goofy Brit, a talking dog and buckets of silliness."

To make sure it has the requred amounts of silliness, Jones has asked the surving Python crew of John Cleese, Michael Palin, Terry Gilliam and Eric Idle to voice the alien characters. They have only made sporadic appearances together in the last few years, most recently at a 2005 performance of the musical Spamalot.
