- Today isn't momentous simply because of the release of 'Back to the Future' on Blu-ray, but because October 26th, 2010 is the 25 year anniversary of the day Marty McFly traveled back in time.

- Once again the toy line for an upcoming superhero movie reveals our first look at characters from said movie. In this case, it's the Frost Giants from 'Thor.' [via /Film]

- Ang Lee has cast newcomer Suraj Sharma as the lead in his adaptation of Yann Martel's novel 'Life of Pi' about a 16-year old who goes on sea-faring adventure with an odd mixture of zoo animals. According to Deadline, Sharma is a 17-year old student who is completely new to acting, so those who wanted to see the role go to a complete unknown have certainly gotten their wish.

- Mark Whalberg will take on the starring human role in 'Ted', Seth MacFarlane's comedy about a grown man whose best friend is a teddy bar come to life. 'Ted' marks the directorial debut of the 'Family Guy' creator, who will also be voicing the CGI teddy bear, who is described as a "carousing, irresponsible slacker".

- The other day we premiered the trailer for 'Brother's Justice' starring Dax Shepard and today we've got a (NSFW for language) trailer for it:

- 'The King's Speech' is already an Oscar front runner and now it may be a front runner for a Tony: screenwriter David Seidler will be adapting the historical film about King George VI for Broadway.

- A "music-centered spot", which is marketing code for "not quite a music video", has surfaced for the 'Derezzed' track from Daft Punk's 'Tron: Legacy' score.

- Murmurs of a 'Child's Play' reboot have been stirring for a while now and the series' original creator, Don Mancini, has opened up to ScreenJunkies about a few of the details. Basically, it won't be a sequel and it won't be as tongue-in-cheek as the sequels became since he'd like to get back to the film's horror roots.

- Production on a sequel to the South Korean monster movie 'The Host' is slowly moving forward. The film, simply titled 'The Host 2,' now has its director (Park Myeong-Chan will be replacing Bong Joon-ho), its budget and the decision to film in 3-D.
