- Twisted Pictures and Lionsgate are finally moving on making a new 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre' after picking up the rights when Platinum Dunes decided not to make their rebooted pair of films a trilogy. 'Leatherface 3D' is the name of Debra Sullivan and Adam Marcus' nearly finalized script, which will kick things off immediately following the events of Tobe Hooper's original.

- Danny Boyle is set to direct a stage-play adaptation of 'Mary Shelley's Frankenstein' for the National Theatre in London. Both Jonny Lee Miller and Benedict Cumberbatch (who is instantly captivating in the title role of the new BBC series 'Sherlock') will play Dr. Frankenstein, each taking on the mad scientist on alternating nights.
