In 'Black Swan,' Natalie Portman plays Nina, a star ballerina, who is given the chance to compete for the lead part in a prestigious New York production of 'Swan Lake.' But Nina's chaste timidness prevents her from fully embracing the role's dark, sensual side, and she may lose out to her rival -- the unabashed and extroverted Lily (Mila Kunis). As Nina and Lily's competition gets more heated and brazen, Nina is forced to tap into her own dark nature to win the performance.

In this exclusive clip from the movie, Nina's trip into her wicked side takes a bizarre, head-scratching twist. Check it out after the jump.

Natalie Portman has been getting rave reviews for her bi-polar performance. However, like the trailer before it, this scene shows us that the maddening descent Nina embarks on might not be contained to just her imagination. With every new scene we see from the film, we're no closer to any answers -- but we're still as intrigued as ever, if not more.

'Black Swan' opens in limited release this Friday, Dec. 3.
