There's definitely an irony that the apex of great success and acclaim culminates with you sitting helplessly in a large room while a bunch of your friends and colleagues do their best to playfully humiliate you in front of a massive crowd. Filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, the polarizing genius behind 'Pulp Fiction' and 'Inglourious Basterds,' is the latest in a long line of famous personalities to get the Friar's Club Roast, and as anyone who has seen his films could tell you, the man has enough strange quirks and fascinations to make him a very easy target.

Unfortunately, video does not seem to exist of the event (at least not yet), but The Hollywood Reporter was in attendance and has helpfully shared many of the evening's best moments. Check out that link for the full rundown, but let's take a look at some of the highlights.
