Most people who saw the Meryl Streep, Amy Adams movie 'Julie & Julia,' based on Julie Powell's autobiographical novel by the same name, haven't thought twice about it since it's 2009 release. But one of them, a blogger named Lawrence Dai, felt so inspired by Julie blogging her way through Julia Child's cookbook, he set out to do the same, only by watching and blogging about the movie every day for an entire year.
On his blog, titled 'The Lawrence/Julie & Julia Project', you can find such notable posts as "Day 35 - Why the Ampersand?,""Racism in Julie & Julia" and in-depth looks at the extras and background actors in the film as well as a daily 'Julie & Julia' film quote. The blog is a study in movie minutia, but it's also freakin' hilarious.

So whether or not you actually liked 'Julie & Julia' is irrelevant. Go check out 'The Lawrence/Julie & Julia Project' here.

We dare say it's funnier than the actual movie.
