At this point in the remake process, when we've got everything from 'Footloose' to 'An American Werewolf in London' and 'The Wizard of Oz' slapped on the to-do list, new remake/reboot/sequel announcements aren't all that surprising. Especially in a world where Miramax's notable library is getting thrust into the action.

It seems rather silly to gripe and groan, so let's get down to it: The Hollywood Reporter posts that the departure of long-time Warner Bros. exec Jessica Goodman -- after a 13-year tenure -- has prompted her portfolio to be distributed to fellow bigwigs. This work file included a whole pile of reboots -- many long-rumored and long-forgotten -- 'Lethal Weapon' (a reboot, not #5), 'The Wild Bunch,' 'The Dirty Dozen,' 'Westworld' and 'Oh God.'
