If three very different versions of Snow White heading into production weren't sign enough that Hollywood is going fairy-tale crazy, here's further proof: Bryan Singer's 'Jack the Giant Killer' has moved on to the casting phase. The 'X-Men' and 'Usual Suspects' director has been attached to the film for at least three years now, and a few weeks ago the production made headlines due to some comments made regarding the cameras it would use. But today brings news that may usher the big-screen re-imagining of the 250-year-old story to life.
The fantastic character actors Stanley Tucci and Bill Nighy are the first two to be cast in the film. Tucci will fill in as the villain of the story; Roderick will play an adviser to the king who has secret plans of taking over the throne. Nighy will be playing Fallon, the two-headed leader of the giants. The busy voice actor John Kassir will be playing the other half of Fallon.
