Summit Entertainment, Lakeshore Entertainment Group and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment have tapped Amanda Seyfried to star in 'Gone,' a thriller about the kidnap victim of a serial killer who, two years after her ordeal is over, comes home from work to discover that her sister is missing. She's convinced that the killer has returned to finish the job, but when the police offer no help, she decides to take matters into her own hands. Goran Visnjic has joined the cast of David Fincher's adaptation of 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.' The former 'ER' star will play the CEO of the security firm that Lisbeth Salander, the girl of the title, works for in the beginning of the three book series by Stieg Larsson. Rooney Mara stars as Salander and Daniel Craig stars as Mikael Blomkvist, the investigative journalist who works with Salander on a story. Sony will release the film this December. [Deadline]
