How do you follow a solid, critically lauded film like 'The King's Speech,' which is primed to win at least a few Oscars this Sunday night?

Perhaps superheroes? Nope, not quite. According to the L.A. Times' 24 Frames, director Tom Hooper was offered the chance to helm 'Iron Man 3' but turned it down, paving the way for Shane Black.

According to their source -- a "person who has worked closely" with Hooper -- he's mulling over an entirely different sort of offer as his follow-up to 'Speech.' The Oscar-nominated director has been zeroeing in on a new version of 'Les Miserables.'
