'Avatar' star Sam Worthington, currently hard at work filming the sequel to 'Clash of the Titans,' is set to star in director F. Gary Gray's ('The Italian Job') take on the graphic novel 'The Last Days of American Crime.'

Worthington will star as a career criminal forced to put together one last big heist before the government implements a form of legal mind control that makes it impossible for citizens to violate the law. The actor will also serve as an executive producer on the project, which will be shopped at the Cannes Film Festival next week. (via The Hollywood Reporter)

The film's casting director issued a statement saying that Duff would no longer be starring in the film.
