Ahh, faded youth. Don't we all like to revisit our past, if only briefly in our mind's eye, to bask in the glow of days gone by? If you're Steven Spielberg, you get to go to the past in a biiiiiigggg way. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Spielberg is toying with the idea of excavating Jurassic Park, to the point of having conversations with screenwriter Mark Protosevich ('I Am Legend,' 'Thor') to brainstorm ways to reboot the franchise.

A fourth 'Jurassic Park' would be a win-win for everyone involved. Given the state of CGI and 3D technology today, Spielberg could tap into his inner boy (and audiences) with spectacular effects that would put to shame those used in the original films, which are prehistoric (sorry) by now. And Universal would hopefully revive a money-making franchise that would pump plenty of cash onto the NBC and Comcast's corporate coffers.
