The weekend of Oct. 14 is shaping up to be a crowded one, with two big remakes -- 'Footloose' and 'The Thing' -- scheduled to debut along with the all-star comedy 'The Big Year.'

That was too big a duel for 'The Three Musketeers,' so Summit Entertainment announced today that it's pushing back its 3D swordplay spectacular a week.

Now, the Musketeers will go toe-to-toe with horror films 'Paranormal Activity 3' and Kevin Smith's 'Red State.' meta charset="utf-8" />

'Three Musketeers' stars Milla Jovovich, Logan Lerman, Orlando Bloom, Juno Temple, Luke Evans, Christoph Waltz and Mads Mikkelsen. Paul W.S. Anderson ('Resident Evil') directed the film, which is currently in post-production.
