You didn't think the final 'Harry Potter' would go out on a quiet note, did you? According to Deadline, 'Deathly Hallows, Part 2' grossed $43.5 million in box office receipts last night alone, beating the previous midnight-showing record of $30 million set by 'Twilight: Eclipse.'

The current single-day record at the box office is held by another 'Twilight' film, 'New Moon,' with $72 million, which 'Potter' may break as well. The film is also currently on track to surpass another record, the opening-weekend grosses set by 'The Dark Knight,' with $158 million.
Do you think 'Deathly Hallows, Part 2' has a shot at 'The Dark Knight''s record? Where do you think it will ultimately rank in the top-10-grossing films of all time?
