Now that Comic-Con 2011 has finally wrapped up and you've read more superhero updates than you can shake a stick at, we just stumbled upon one more thing that we just had to share.

After we reported on it briefly last Friday, a costumed Andrew Garfield went ahead and introduced the 'Amazing Spider-Man' panel by giving a speech from the crowd before taking questions onstage. Might not sound like the wildest thing that happened at Comic-Con this year and it's probably not as big as the trailer debut, but now that we've got the video of his speech in full, it's the one thing we're talking about and we couldn't be happier with the person they found to replace Tobey Maguire.

Hit the jump to see Garfield's heartfelt speech that made us love Spidey all over again and love Garfield that much more.

We don't really need to hear anything else about 'The Amazing Spider-Man' for us to be there on its July 3, 2012, release date, but who knew we'd end up liking Garfield so much along the way? Fingers crossed they don't give him an emo dance scene.

What do you think of Garfield as Spidey?
