No, this is not a parody article -- Moviefone didn't turn into the Onion while you were sleeping. Believe it or not, there actually are drive-ins that still exist, and they may even be in your neck of the woods! That's why we decided to put together a semi-comprehensive guide of some of the best drive-ins across the country (there are, according to, 370 still in existence). Now, we realize that not all drive-in experiences end happily. Just ask John Travolta in 'Grease' when Olivia Newton John stranded him there (although to be fair, Zuko was trying to put the moves on poor innocent Sandy, so maybe he got what he deserved). However, that doesn't mean that you have to suffer a similarly bad time. For instance, in the new film 'Warrior,' there's a heartwarming scene where a group of students rent out a drive-in theater to watch their teacher (Joel Edgerton), an MMA fighter, take on his brother (Tom Hardy) -- this after the kids were banned from using the school's auditorium to screen the fight. If you want to add a little something to your standard movie theater-going experience (whether that be watching a regular film or two fighters beat the living crap out of each other), check out our guide below.
