If you felt the Emmy Awards had a cinematic feel on Sunday night, you're not wrong: four winners during the telecast (Kate Winslet, Martin Scorsese, Maggie Smith and Julian Fellowes) had previously won Oscars, while final presenter Gwyneth Paltrow was a former Academy Award winner as well. (Paltrow also won an Emmy this year for Best Guest Actress in a Comedy; that award was not televised.) For Winslet, the Emmy win for her performance in 'Mildred Pierce' gives the actresses three-quarters of an EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony): she won Best Actress for 'The Reader' at the 2009 ceremonies and received a Grammy for Best Spoken Word Album for Children in 2000. Next stop: Broadway, obviously. [Aol TV]
