If Moviefone were a hacktastic entertainment website, you might see a reference here to the infamous Tony Montana line, "Say hello to my little friend!" For your sake, however, we're not. (Mostly.) Deadline reports that Universal is hoping to add a new chapter to the story of 'Scarface' with a film that will combine elements from both the 1932 version with Paul Muni and the 1983 version with Al Pacino and a mountain of cocaine.
No word yet on locale or plot, but expect the new film -- if it actually happens -- to follow close to the plot of both previous efforts: an immigrant comes to America, rises to the top of the underworld and gets the comeuppance he so richly deserves. Put another way: "In this country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women."

The 1983 version of 'Scarface' from director Brian De Palma hit Blu-ray earlier this month. Check out the launch party below.
