Since release last Friday, 'Star Wars: The Complete Saga' on Blu-ray has sold 1 million copies -- good for a record-breaking global total of $84 million. In North America alone, Lucasfilm sold $38 million worth of discs, and the set broke both the pre-order and catalog sales records for Blu-ray releases. The 13-month campaign to launch the SAGA Blu-ray and engage consumers around the globe began in August 2010.
