The bible is like Hansel: so hot right now! Earlier this year it was revealed that Darren Aronofsky was planning a $130 million budgeted epic about Noah's Ark, and now Warner Bros. wants Steven Spielberg for its Moses film 'Gods and Kings.' Deadline reports that no formal discussions have taken place yet, but Spielberg did read the script by Michael Green and Stuart Hazeldine, which follows Moses from birth to death. (Getting the always-busy Spielberg signed on will be the difficult part.) Between this, Aronofsky's film and Mel Gibson's take on Judah Maccabee's life, B.C. is having quite a moment. [Deadline]
