Thankfully, Martin Scorsese's films haven't gotten the remake treatment. Yet. If that dark day does come, though -- if some ambitious studio executive decides to raid Scorsese's oeuvre -- having Michael Pitt star as Henry Hill in a new version of 'Goodfellas' probably wouldn't be the worst thing. In the new issue of Harper's Bazaar, a number of Scorsese's films get the photo-recreation treatment, with Pitt, his 'Boardwalk Empire' co-star Vincent Piazza and Ben Kingsley doing the honors for 'Goodfellas.' To paraphrase the scene from the gangster classic remembered in the pic: effin' great!
The pictorial also includes a recreation of 'Taxi Driver' (with Chloe Moretz and Keanu Reeves), 'Gangs of New York' (with Christina Hendricks), 'The Age of Innocence' (with Kate Bosworth) and 'Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore' (with Emily Blunt). Head over to Harper's Bazaar for the full gallery of images. Check out the pic -- and a clip from the 'Goodfellas' photo shoot -- below.
